For my two ancillary texts, I have created a DVD cover and a Magazine Advert. I decided to create these two texts using canva.com to ensure the finishing result had a professional touch.  (1) Magazine Advert For my first ancillary text, I created a Magazine Advert. I have included a picture from the music video of the female protagonist looking at the flower - which is a motif in the video. I ensured to change the colour of the title in order to enforce a theme of yellow to highlight the summery aspect Daisy and I wanted to convey as we felt it's the season which represents youth the most. I decided to place the female protagonist on the front cover because it identifies a character and automatically engages the audience with one of the characters even before they have watched it. Below are the four questions I will be addressing in the evaluation of my A2 production. I will be analysing each question in my own words and begin to think about which creative method i will use to answer each question. Question One - In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? Question Two - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary text? Question Three - What have you learned from your audience feedback? Question Four - How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? For Question One, I need to demonstrate my understanding of existing media products. This question requires me to look back on the research I carried out and explain how that particular research influenced the forms and conventions of my own media product. While I can mention how the research influenced my product, I can also mention how it contrasted with my ideas
